The Festival is held at the Queens Botanical Garden where you will enjoy music, folklore and raffles among others. With various acts of craft work, primarily the saddles made with Colombian flowers as pompons, roses, Garberas, the astronomies, carnations, daisies and hundreds of flowers born in Colombia. The Festival was created in 2010 with the primary purpose of spreading Colombian culture in New York
After visiting the Queens Botanical Garden, be sure to attend the parade which is made by Silleteros on Jackson Heights Ave. The protagonists of the event, The ''silleteros'' come directly from Santa Elena - Antioquia .... you will feel nostalgic not being at the Flowers Parade in Medellín!
